The inaugural Connect. Communicate. Care. 2015 (CCC2015) conference is taking place March 9-10 at the SLS Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. This conference will highlight and discuss the latest innovations in what many consider to be a cornerstone in the future of health care; including on-demand, portable and telemedicine solutions. It was created to provide practical guidance, resource introductions and superior networking opportunities for health care leaders who have implemented, or are considering implementing, these enterprise telemedicine solutions in their facilities. With a track dedicated to telemedicine and another dedicated to the rising challenge of delivering language services in health care, CCC2015 will feature over 12 sessions spanning 15 hours.

Nine-time Emmy winner, Dr. Bruce Hensel, Chief Health, Medical & Science Correspondent for NBC4 in Los Angeles, will serve as the moderator for the conference.

“We have created a conference in which learning and relationship building is the focus,” stated James Edwards, CEO of Carenection and Language Access Network (LAN), the event’s sponsors. “We listened to our clients and built an experience around their needs and desires. We didn’t want to be the only people to benefit and keep it captive, so we are sharing it with the industry to promote the most open and honest idea exchange while providing a tremendous amount of value to attendees.”

The list of keynote speakers includes the following industry leaders and pioneers:

  • Bart Demaerschalk, MD, Professor in the Department of Neurology at the Mayo Clinic
  • Darren Dworkin, CIO, Cedars Sinai Medical Center
  • Gerald Kominski, PhD, Professor of Health Policy and Management at UCLA
  • Jay Sanders, MD, CEO of The Global Telemedicine Group and Adjunct Professor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins
  • Lou Silverman, CEO, Advanced ICU Care
  • Joe Peterson, MD, Chief Executive Officer & Director, Specialist On Call
  • Elsa Velasquez Ward, BSN, Cultural Diversity Coordinator, Midland Memorial Hospital
  • Cindy Roat, Supervisor of the Bilingual Patient Navigator Program at Children’s Hospital in Seattle, Washington

CCC2015 is designed to be an intimate event to provoke discussion and promote connection and therefore attendance is limited to 100 people.
